GCSE qualifications in England were revised by the government in 2017 to make them more demanding. Exam conditions will apply to every examination, the rules are set by the Joint Council for Qualifications and can be viewed using the links below. These posters will also be visible in any examination room.
Examination boards provide very detailed information on all of their courses and their websites are the best place to start looking for additional help. They are all relatively easy to use with the sections on course specifications, past papers and mark schemes being the most useful.
The exam board websites are: AQA, Edexcel, OCR
Students must continue to ask their teachers for help whenever they need it and parents, as always, are very welcome to contact the appropriate teacher in school with any queries.
