Chocolate trip!

A group of food science students from Year 10 and 12 spent the day at Davenport’s Chocolates in Gateshead last week, exploring the science behind chocolate.

The group investigated tempering, looking at temperatures and setting times before creating their own chocolate masterpieces. They also tried their hand in truffle making.

All in all, it was an excellent experience!
