44 creative students in Years 7 and 8 have been chosen to have their work published in a Young Writers poetry anthology.
The students wrote poems as part of their English homework, based on themes in 'A Monster Calls' for Year 7, and 'Romeo and Juliet' for Year 8. The estimated date of publication for The Poetry Games - The North East is 30 September.
Well done to all the students who were chosen - what a great accomplishment!
Students don't have to buy the book, but they do need to give permission to be published - please make sure forms are returned to school as soon as possible.
