Kind students at Bedlington Academy have been fundraising for Oliver's Journey recently, raising over £300 for the local teenager.
Students have run numerous events to raise money for the fund including a Father's Day gift stall, cake stalls, and our Year 9 students even sold their showstopping profiteroles.
The fundraising team at Oliver's Journey have thanked the students of Bedlington Academy for their kindness and support.
Well done to all pupils involved and keep up the good work.
In August 2018, Oliver Bultitude, who is currently studying in Year 13 at KEVI Sixth Form in Morpeth, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. As a result of this, he is currently undergoing chemotherapy after having his leg amputated. Oliver would eventually like to raise enough money for a sports leg which would help him to return to his much-loved sports.
