Yesterday a number of our students took part in the first NELT athletics festival at Gateshead Stadium, where all North East Learning Trust schools came together for a brilliant day of sports, fun and positivity.💪🤩
The morning began with a wonderful opening ceremony where our students paraded our school flag with pride, before heading off to the track and field to complete in a range of activities from javelin and long jump to discuss and shot putt.
Team Bedlington showed great sportsmanship and Megan, Ethan, Amy, Logan and Robin even came away with some medals! Congratulations to our brilliant winners and runners up. It was such a fantastic day - well done everyone!👏
