This week we have been joining the commemorative events for 80th anniversary of VE day, this included students learning about what VE day was and the significance of this both 80 years ago and today. We looked at clips from the time, took part in some creative writing, wrote to some veterans, ate a 1940's themed lunch, played some hopscotch and also performed at the community celebration event.
