The Class of 2026 have achieved another excellent set of GCSE results!
This morning, students, staff and families celebrated another fantastic set of GCSE results, with this year's cohort achieving some of the school's strongest ever outcomes across a wide range of subjects. This reflects the hard work, resilience and ambition shown by the year group throughout their secondary education.
Students performed strongly across the curriculum. In English, over 81% achieved Grade 4 or above, while nearly 79% secured Grade 4 or above in mathematics. Over half of students (51%) achieved a strong pass (Grade 5+) in both maths and English. Science outcomes were also particularly impressive, with more than 72% of students achieving Grades 4-9 in at least two sciences. There were also notable achievements among the highest-attaining students, with 27 % securing grades 7-9 in English and 21% securing grades 7-9 in maths.
Among the many individual success stories were Zak P, Jessica G, George H, Jack S, Joe H, Olivia C and Jason F who achieved outstanding grades (grade 8+) across a wide range of subjects. In addition, Millie B, Emily S, James D, Anthony T and Lewis B all exceeded their target grades by an average of at least two grades in each subject. Their achievements exemplify the ambition, resilience and determination shown by this exceptional cohort.

What makes these outcomes especially pleasing is not simply the grades themselves, but the progress our students have made. Every student should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished.
These results are a testament to the strength of our entire school community. I would like to thank our staff for their unwavering dedication and our families for the encouragement and support they provide every day.
