Mobile Phones

If students have mobile phones, these must remain switched off in their bag while at school and must not be seen or used during the school day. Mobile phones will be confiscated if used in school. Should a mobile phone be confiscated from a student, it will be kept by the Year Manager until the end of the school day. The Academy will take very seriously instances where a mobile phone has been used to film, photograph or record staff or students without their permission. Our behaviour policy outlines sanctions which will be applied in these cases.

Pre-loved uniform

The Academy is working with Community School Clothing Scheme which enables parents/carers to source free second hand uniform items. We have a clothing bank next to the main entrance where pre-loved uniform can be donated. Using this platform means that parents/carers are not only saving money but also contributing to a more sustainable future, reducing the amount of wearable uniform going to landfill. Further details can be found at Community School Clothing Scheme.
