This morning we celebrated with our fantastic Year 13 students as they collected their highly-anticipated A level results! We are delighted to congratulate the cohort on their exceptional achievements and the dedication they have shown throughout their sixth form journey. Over the past two years, they have demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.

This year, a third of our cohort achieved A-A* grades, and over half achieved A-B grades, reflecting the hard work and ambition of our students and the unwavering support of our staff and families.

Among the many outstanding individual performances, we are proud to highlight:

  • Katie T, who achieved three A* grades in Physics, Maths, and Biology. She will be studying Natural Sciences at Durham University.

  • Katie L, who was awarded three A grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. She will be studying Medicine and Surgery at Newcastle University.
  • Sam H, who earned an A* in English Literature and two A grades in Law and History. He will be studying Law at Newcastle University.
  • Jess G, who bagged two A grades and a Distinction. She will be studying Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
  • James B, who achieved an A*, A, and B. He will be studying physics at Newcastle University.

As our students move on to a wide range of exciting and diverse pathways, we wish them every success in the future. We are confident they will continue to thrive and make a positive impact in their chosen fields. Our school community will always be here to support them, now and in the years to come.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 – we are incredibly proud of you all!
